To say that Kurt Waterstadt has been instrumental to the high standards of GMAT would be selling him short. Even with a broken back (not from Jiu Jitsu) Kurt did not stop from helping his fellow students achieve high scores on their Combatives testing.  Kurt holds the honor of scoring a 98 himself while practicing his 'Navy Grip". He will be stationed aboard the USS LASSEN (DDG 82) in Mayport, FL for the next few years.  He is planning on applying to graduate school to pursue a degree in journalism.  After the Navy he plans on traveling the world, writing and trying to make a positive impact.
His passion and belief in the Gracie University curriculum will be missed.  Come and don't say goodbye, tell him we will meet again one day!
